Clubs & Organizations
Junior High & High School Academic UIL
The University Interscholastic League offers the most comprehensive literary and academic competitive program in the nation. It offers more than any other UIL division in terms of activities, with 22 high school and 18 elementary and junior high contests. More than a half million students participate in UIL academic contests.
These activities, which exist to complement the academic curriculum, are designed to motivate students as they acquire higher levels of knowledge, to challenge students to confront issues of importance, and to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate mastery of specific skills.
Beta Club
Beta Club is an academic honor society that also functions as a service organization. They attend the Texas Beta Club convention, where students can compete in a variety of events to earn a berth at the National Beta Club Convention.
This group sponsors Valentine's Day carnations, helps with the food drive to support area families at Christmas, Elementary Field Day in the spring, and other various community events. Santo Beta Club annually awards an annual scholarship to a graduating Beta Club member.
Grace and Faith proudly hold their plaques for Division 1 First Place in Onsite Painting & Division 1 Third Place in Speaking earned them a trip to the 2025 National Beta Club Convention.
Student Council
Student Council is made up of elected members from each high school class. The students serve as class representatives to the StuCo body and student representatives to the administration. Members are in charge of Homecoming week Tailgate party and other events, and holiday spirit in the fall semester. StuCo also elects Students of the Month and takes care of secondary Teacher Appreciation Week.
